Kai Aroha Rotorua
In October 2020, we were approved as a Ka Ora, Ka Ako Healthy School Lunches supplier in Rotorua. We are proud to provide FREE and HEALTHY lunches daily to Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Koutu, Te Rangihakahaka Centre for Science and Technology, Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Rotoiti and Lake Rotoma School.
We have successfully secured contracts with our existing kura through to December 2023.
Our Kai Aroha Rotorua journey began with friends sharing a cuppa tea. Our kaupapa is to work in partnership with our kura and put Aroha into our kai, hence the play on words with our name.
We reached out to our community; partnered with Ngāi Tahu Tourism to use their commercial kitchen, gathered staff and borrowed a couple of vans.
